I know...everyone has been saying that...but it's kinda scary to just screw everything up...so I kind of involuntarily do it all super white...
Ring looks like wood. You should add more dark yellow tint
You need characters from both the worlds of harry potter and lotr by that standerd this is automatically disqualified :/
If the rules say "depicting an interaction/clash between any mix of characters from the Lord of the Rings, and the Harry Potter Universes." ; I think mixing prominent features of two characters (Dobby and Gollum) into one character should at least be open for debate and not automatically disqualified though. :/

Remember you have to tag cotmloth for challenge of the month lord of the Hogwarts. Very nice color I like the contrasts and strong clean lines proportions are a bit wacky but I like it
Thanks Jerry, I'll do that! Like your stuff too
If you don't have water color paper I would suggest skipping them. And you should look up resources before drawing. Like Google hand holding a sword and basalisk. Other than that well done
Hah, guess you're right. Those bruises look really awful. Nut I love water colours and when I get my hands on the paper I will try using again. And you're right with the references, this doesn't look too good either...
Anyways, thank you very much for your opinion! I'll try sticking to it as much as I can in the future!
Its very rough and stiff. Look into anatomy poses and try to loosen up. With the shading use a soft brush to blend together light and shadow for the softer transitions. Then go over them with a lower opacity brush for texturing. If your program dosent allow it than just do what you can *-*
i´m going to try, thanks for the coment :)
When your shading skin you should use what's called tone shifting. So tint the shadows a bit red to make them look better. Very nice highlights on saron though that's cool
Maby work on larger paper if your going to use the rough colored pencil method. Otherwise sharpen those pencils man to get best quality
Oh man I was hoping someone would make tree beard. While using colored pencils you should make sure to shade very softly until its almost flat and then gradually get harder until its as dark as you want it. That or use a blending stump will get rid of white flecks where you can see the paper
yes I know :/ the paper is really rough and I couldn't make it look better but I must say, it looks better in original that on the foto ;)
Anyway thanks for the comment. I'm always trying to get some input :)
